Clinton Baptiste to perform exclusive work-in-progress show at Salford Lads Club ahead of 2026 UK tour.
The spirits have spoken ~ Clinton Baptiste, clairvoyant, medium, psychic, and star of Peter Kay’s Phoenix Nights, will deliver a special one-off performance at Salford Lads Club this spring, ahead of his 2026 nationwide tour.
With the ectoplasm bubbling and his crystal ball glowing brighter than ever, Clinton will unveil brand-new material alongside his classic paranormal revelations. Expect laughter, mystic insight and the occasional gasp as he communes with the other side…and with the audience.
“I’ve seen the future,” Clinton announced, “and it involves me, you, and a packed Salford Lads Club. The spirits are queuing already. In fact, one of them reckons it’ll sell out quicker than you can say ‘knocking three times on the ceiling if you want me’.”
The choice of Salford Lads Club ~ a landmark etched into Manchester’s cultural DNA ~ provides an intimate and atmospheric stage for Clinton to test the supernatural waters before his biggest tour yet. Famous for over a century of community heritage ~ plus its connection to The Smiths ~ Salford Lads Club is the perfect venue for a night where history, comedy and the paranormal collide.
Leslie Holmes, Project Manager at Salford Lads Club, said: “This is a rare opportunity to see the one and only Clinton Baptiste perform in an intimate setting. We’re really looking forward to welcoming him onto our Edwardian concert hall stage, which originally featured male voice choirs and musical hall acts. More recently, we’ve hosted Frank Sidebottom, John Shuttleworth and John Cooper Clark, so this feels like the perfect next step!”
Audiences are warned to expect chills, chuckles and perhaps even contact with Auntie Brenda!
This work-in-progress show is ahead of Clinton Baptiste’s Spectral Intercourse tour, which includes a show at The Lowry on Sunday, 15th March 2026.
